Ecopetbed Chopped Cardboard Bedding
Pack Size Approx 20kg (often more, but don't tell the Courier)- That's nearly enough to fill a large domestic wheelie bin, once it's let out of its wrapper!
When comparing the cost of our product with similar products, please check the bale weight. You may be surprised how light some of them are.
Ecopetbed is made from Recycled Cardboard. This cardboard is not 'post-consumer' waste, but new cardboard waste from box manufacturing and unused stocks. (May contain a small percentage of coloured card)
Ecopetbed is recommended and used by many of the UK top Fancy Rat breeders and also recommended by Vets and Pet Welfare organisations.
Also great for Pet Rabbits (it's used at Bunnyhall Rabbit Hotel), for Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Snakes and most small cage pets.
We use Ecobed in our Hen & Duck houses. We also have customers using it for Cat litter and in Kennels.
It is used extensively in Equestrian and Racing stables. Some farmers use it for bedding store cattle.

- Ecopetbed is warm & comfortable, it's random cut makes the bed bulky and comfortable, by trapping air.
- Ecopetbed is absorbent, urine is absorbed by the corrugated core of the cardboard through the clean cut edge to retain moisture without effecting to the rest of the bed. Virtually eliminates odours.
- Ecopetbed particles do not cling to clothing.
- Ecopetbed can be easily composted, and if dug in disappears in 2 weeks. Worms love Ecopetbed.
